Mission
The mission of the National Autism Association is to empower families affected by autism and other neurological disorders, while advocating on behalf of those who cannot fight for their own rights. We will encourage those in the autism community to never give up in their search to help their loved ones reach their full potential, funding efforts toward this end through appropriate research for finding a cure for the neurological damage from which so many affected by autism suffer.
NAA of Central Texas has a parent-run Board of Directors that meets monthly to discuss issues, establish priorities, and vote on the direction of the organization. We also have an Advisory Board of professionals that provide our free and low-cost seminars. Without their guidance, NAA of Central Texas would not be the valuable community resource that it is. We will support and advocate for the Central Texas autism community from prenatal health to adult services for autism and never lose sight of the goal of lifelong dignity and fulfillment for our children, whether cured, recovered, or otherwise.
